Used Spring framework to add a command-line interface to a Java application. This permitted access to advanced application utilities and custom commands for various administrative level functions.Used JavaFX framework to enhance the GUI of a Spring Boot application. Developed new screens to streamline operations and expand capabilities. This permitted the elimination of three legacy processes and improved the user experience.Utilized Azure, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible and other technologies to refactor legacy build processes to use CI/CD pipelines. This reduced application build and deploy times by six hours per day and led to more frequent software releases.Led multiple SSO (Single Sign On) implementations that integrated a Java based web application with third-party authentication providers, which included Cisco DUO and Okta.

Lead upgrade of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting platform. Responsibilities included determining optimal version of upgrade, allocation and configuration of hardware, planning and designing of migration path, successful execution of upgrade.Administered BI systems for necessary tuning (memory, CPU, network, storage) and created new servers to handle scheduling and heavy usage.Developed enhancements for systems to improve productivity, efficiency, up-time and accuracy. Customized user interfaces (forms, fields, workflows) and configured application functionality using Agile methodology.

Conducted Tableau and Business Objects trainings to less experienced technical staff, and new developers. Interviewed business clients to analyze their requirements and recommend and design technological improvements to their processes and procedures.Developed pilot implementation of dashboards (hosted via web server), establishing new design patterns for future BI development.

Developed an application for extracting, importing, and transforming data then sending reports via email. Fully automated to run daily using batch jobs and object-oriented programming.Performed database querying, analysis, and reporting.
