While living in Seattle I worked in bars and restaurants for 15+ years and have managed bars and cafes on and off since 2009. I have been a part of the opening of three different establishments; a craft cocktail bar, a British pub, and a coffee shop. In all three I have taken a supervisory or management roll. In my most current roll I developed a menu and cocktail program, managed personnel and customer service on a daily basis, and continually analyzed our P&L, menu costs, and inventory, resulting in profits and customer counts greatly exceeding the expectations of ownership.
