It's not how fast you measure. It's how well you measure fast! During my time in the Navy, I had the privilege of operating, maintaining, and calibrating some amazing pieces of marine propulsion equipment. I quickly learned that hard work and quality go hand in hand. After the military, I became a machinist where I learned that time, technique, and technology determined the quality of a product. I was intrigued by the measurement aspect of manufacturing and moved into a CMM programming position where I found that proper GD&T, Repeatability, and Accuracy were key factors that determine the quality of a process. Today, my role at Renishaw allows me to utilize past experience to provide customer solutions while applying the latest measurement technology from Renishaw. The technology that is available in today's ever-changing manufacturing environments allows industry to monitor, improve, eliminate scrap and waste, but most of all, improve the quality of their products.
