About Jay Jernigan

My journey has been sinuous. Twisting and turning to bring me to this point. I left Georgia Tech to join the Marine Corps and thought I would be learning valuable skills for the duration of my commitment. Little did I know, I would tear several ligaments in my ankle and end up being medically discharged. I’ve experienced the ups and downs that life can throw at you and am ready to face the world. I am a Full Stack Web Developer with a focus on the backend and skills with React as well as GraphQL. I have a certification from the rigorous Georgia Tech Web Development Boot Camp and love getting to put my hard earned skills to use. This is just the beginning. My desire is to always be learning and reinforcing that knowledge by utilizing it new and inventive ways.
