Working on research in the gravitational wave astronomy field - UW-Bothell's GWA Research Group covers several research endeavors of GWA, the main three research collaborations including LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory), LISA (Laser Interferometer Space Antenna), & NANOGrav (North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves). I am working on refining skills and understanding of concepts by reading and taking notes on several recommended sources, learning to start working through physics worksheets involving gravitational wave concepts, how online gravitational wave simulations work and what observations can be made from real data/grading pulsar plots, and more, and aim to by the end of the school year, compile all that I learn into a podcast or slides I can use to share my gained knowledge with other aerospace enthusiasts. I'm looking forward to the time ahead and excited to have a great experience here and gain invaluable knowledge - grateful for the opportunity to learn amongst the passionate professors and students in this research group!

Member of school's rocketry club for the 6 years, participated in the highlycompetitive American Rocketry Challenge (ARC) for the past 5 yearsThe ARC requires us to constantly incorporate the engineering design process inorder to design, build, and test launch model rockets, with different configurationand objective requirements each yearThousands of students from throughout the United States enroll in the competitionevery year, with the top 100 teams (3-10 members) with highest score during 3 flightsobserved by officials qualify for nationals, and first place team represents America ininternationals against the UK, France, and JapanI have collaborated with 2-5 schoolmates every year and resulted in a 4-time nationalqualifier, securing 8th in the nation in 2019. Took part in the Washington Aerospace Scholars program, a University ofWashington credit level course - this program consists of Phase 1 (Nov. 2022 - Mar.2023), requiring a series of readings, quizzes, projects, and essays regarding variousaerospace-related topics.I passed the program with a 95.90%, earning myself thechance to be a part of Phase 2 (July/August 2023), which is a summer residency inwhich WAS students work in the Museum of Flight and at the UW in different teamsto engineer a complete mission to Mars.

As one of the two students elected by club members and officers to represent my grade, I worked as a liaison between the several club members and the executive team of the club. I appeared at every club and officer meeting (at least once a week), contributing resources, and made sure to communicate needs and wants of the members of the club as well as the expectations and plans of the officers for meetings, fundraisers, large festival events, etc. I also engaged in community outreach to foster more interest in the club's purpose, and acquired feedback to communicate with the team to help the club improve.

High School rocketry club accountant for one year, in which I drafted formal letters to build relationships with potential sponsors and earn company grants, created documents for rocket parts purchase orders for all teams in the club with respect to school budget and facilitated organization of club fundraisers, and periodically guided new club members towards developing the necessary expertise to compete in the renowned American Rocketry Challenge (ARC)
