• Developed and maintained an online survey for the Longitudinal Evaluation of Public Service Training Initiatives project (Dept of Industrial Relations and UQ Psychology). • In collaboration with my supervisor, I: ◦ met with clients ◦ assessed requirements ◦ developed a web-based application using the LAMP (Linux OS, Apache httpd server, mySQL database, and Perl programming language) ◦ used XML and XSLT transforms to separate the survey questions from the presentation logic, enabling efficient maintenance and easy customization ◦ maintained the system and server • The 2003 e-survey was a success, delivered on time and budget, and significantly reducing staff efforts compared to the 2002 e-survey and pen-and-paper surveys. I was re-employed to assist with the 2004 e-survey, and the 2005 Work-Life Balance survey, both delivered with the same system.
