As Wells Manager, am responsible for the following areas:•Developing and leading a multi-disciplined wells & operations team.•Construct and implement a new and comprehensive Wells Management System.•Manage planning and operational teams at Zenith, on behalf of clients, to perform design and execution stages across UK, Europe, Africa and more. Recently this has involved multiple wells in Poland, Morocco, India & the UKCS. This varies between onshore wells, offshore wells, decommissioning, drilling, workover, interventions and study work.•Contract negotiations for MODU rig hire(s), Master Service Agreements with 3rd party providers, business level contracts for 3rd party service provision etc.•Well integrity throughout the life cycle, with respect to wells where Zenith is the Well Operator.•Recruitment and development of Wells related personnel to bolster Zenith group capabilities. •Performance management - ensuring all applicable regulations, standards, procedures and client related instructions are followed, while providing fit for purpose designs and cost effective operational efficiencies.•Member of Zenith’s Senior Management Team.

As Wells Manager, was responsible for the following areas:•Developed a UKCS leading in house multi-disciplined wells & operations team from ±6 personnel to over 60.•Responsible and accountable for over $750M of CAPEX, OPEX & ABEX spend in 5 years.•Accountable for integrity of all Ithaca operated well stock (circa 190 wells) including interventions/workovers.•Drilling of all new wells, comprising: - Captain and Alba ERD platform campaigns (x 7 wells) - Captain Enhanced Oil Recovery Polymer Injection subsea campaign (x 7 wells) - Abigail subsea field development (x 2 wells) - Fotla subsea field development (x 3 wells) - K2 subsea field development (x 2 wells) - Stella field infill well - Cook field Water Injector well•P&A of Wellstock reaching the end of it's useful lifecycle, comprising: - Jacky NUI platform (x 3 wells) - Athena subsea field (x 6 wells) - Anglia NUI platform (x 6 wells) - Anglia subsea field (x 3 wells)•Additionally responsible for wells related interaction with regulatory bodies and non-operating JV partners with respect to Ithaca well stock.•Ithaca sole representative in industry workshops and forums (OEUK etc).•As technical authority, was responsible for well integrity throughout the life cycle.•Served as part of Ithaca’s Senior Management Team, including development and implementation of new culture, visions and values across the business. •Integrated employees with differing cultures from three different operators (Chevron UK, Siccar Point Energy, Summit Exploration) acquired as part of Ithaca's transformational growth from small, single asset independent to 2nd largest independent in UKCS.

Ithaca Wells PM/Drilling Superintendent for numerous projects in the planning stage, including multiple Central North Sea prospects, comprising water injector and development wells, as well as decommissioning of platform and subsea assets.Promoted to Wells Manager.

Project Manager and Drilling Superintendent for the following projects:Hurricane Energy - 205/21a-7 & 7z (Lancaster field) - Highly inclined appraisal well with a horizontal producer in a highly fractured, basement reservoir. Very high profile project, exploiting new "play" in UKCS - West of Shetland, utilising a 6th generation RamRig. Awarded a Petrofac EVE responsiveness commendation award for my role in this project.Ithaca Energy - 30/6a-10 & 10z (Harrier field) - First dual lateral, acid fracked stimulation well in the UKCS. 6,000ft of horizontal reservoir drilling through naturally fractured and faulted carbonate formations. Highly complex well delivered using "fit-for-purpose & off-the-shelf" rather than "bespoke" technology, saving $130m from conventional design. Awarded a Petrofac innovation commendation award for my role in this project.

Senior Drilling Engineer on Beryl field in UKCS.Responsible for planning and overseeing execution of 9/13a-B80 ERD well from Beryl Bravo platform.This project involved a protracted and complicated slot recovery phase, resulting in the requirement to restore integrity to the 13 3/8" intermediate casing and the 9 5/8" gas injection, production casing string in the donor well. In order to facilitate sidetracking the new well at the required depth, a 7" Liner Hanger and ±200ft of liner were also milled out.A 12,000ft horizontal, 8½" hole section was then drilled to TD at 20,927ft. The drilling operations were carried out in a "Best in Class" time for the UKCS - for any well longer than 6,500ft in the UKCS.

My responsibilities included:1) Developed well designs in response to customer or business development requests for proposals, while working to ensure the customer defined and understood their well objectives.2) Generated turnkey and/or project management proposals, ensuring commercial objectives were met and risks mitigated.3) Supervised & mentored 16 senior drilling engineers and drilling engineers.4) Trained engineers on company procedures, risk mitigation and in applying practical problem solving to their workload.5) Ensured consistency and application of bidding philosophy, standards and systems in engineering department.

Worked as a core crew Roughneck and Assistant Derrickman on the GSF Britannia jack-up rig, gaining experience of UBD, low-head and conventional drilling operations in the UK Southern North Sea region. Also worked as a core crew Roustabout, on the GSF Arctic III Semi-Submersible rig. Gained experience of drilling operations, testing operations, running and installing completions, wellheads and XT's.Additionally, when the GSF Arctic III entered dry dock in Verolme, Netherlands for an upgrade, I became part of the Project Engineering team. My main responsibilities included:1) The justification of the budgeted costs for the upgrade.2) Liasing between the project team, rig management and the purchasing department. 3) Consulting rig-site and office teams to ensure comprehensive solutions to technical problems.4) Sourcing Netherlands based vendors to provide alternative equipment to UK based vendors.
