Jeongjin Kim is a graphic designer from South Korea. He started drawing as a child copying cartoon characters in Kindergarten. Drawing and designing continued as just a hobby until he was twenty. This was the turning point. When faced with the decision of what to study in school, Jeongjin considered what occupation he could enjoy for life and knew it would be graphic design.He has a positive and active personality that can be seen in his work. Most of his projects start in his notebook, which he keeps by his bedside or close to him. Ideas often come before he falls asleep. While these ideas jotted down in his notebook might not be as good as ideas from traditional brainstorming, it always helps him kick around some fun ideas.He is has been impressed by Dieter Rams’ ten timeless commandments of good design, and also trying to put that thought in his work. Jeongjin attentively observes the design of materials, giving time to understand the design’s intentions. He aspires to be a designer who can impress the world with his work.
