This role requires me to supervise all staff under Environmental Services (Ward Cleaners, Discharge Cleaners, Orderlies and more) and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to meet the hospital’s needs. This includes:- Manage Carps Task Management system to effectively and efficiently allocate resources as required to meet the needs of the hospital- Supervise and coordinate Enviro Staff ensuring the needs of patients, staff and organisation are met.- Responsible for the efficient and effective utilisation of material and human resources- Supervise and coordinate issuing and return of all CARPS handheld devices and undertake checks as required- Manage department key security/allocations and ensure all keys are signed out and in- Use Carps Task Management System to allocate appropriate break times, ensuring staff receive entitled breaks and labour resources maintained- Consult with other departments as and when required- Ensure all department personnel, whilst on duty, observe ambitious standards ofpersonal and operational hygiene- Ensure all department personnel observe corporate 'uniform' standards- Communicate regularly with workplace safety representatives on relevantworkplace safety matters.
