CurrentDepartment Chief for Plans and Exercises, Strategic Integration (SI) Directorate, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) with responsibilities to the Secretary of Defense for countering and deterring weapons of mass destruction and improvised threat networks, cooperative threat reduction, and arms control issues. Major responsibilities include: Lead/Supervises teams of joint military and DoD civilians responsible for providing campaign and contingency counter WMD Improvised Threat Network (CWMD/CTN) planning and exercise support to DoD with priority assigned to the Combatant Commands (CCMD). Lead joint planners to provide CWMD/CTN support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, CCMDs, and other DoD and federal agencies. Integrate DoD campaign plans for CWMD/CTN with CCMD campaign plans. Support integration of CWMD/CTN activities with OUSD (Policy), Joint Staff, CCMDs and Components, other USG departments and agencies. Provide personnel in direct support of CCMD exercises related to the CWMD/CTN mission. Support the development and comprehensive reviews of CWMD/CTN strategy, doctrine, and policy. Maintain subject matter expertise across the spectrum of CWMD/CTN.
