Hired initially for quality assurance testing of all software and hardware used in the delivery of fuel additives through common gasoline dispensers. This includes custom VB software for use on WinNT/XP embedded systems, custom firmware for proprietary hardware, as well as a number of small Linux daemons on a central server which log events and control the fuel additive dispensers. Promoted to Linux Systems Administrator in 2007. As the systems administrator responsibilities include maintaining five central Linux servers (Red Hat and Debian) as well as over 900 Debian-based servers installed at sites across the country. Write and maintain scripts in Bash, PHP, and Perl to automate system tasks and monitor system status. Also developed web applications for software distribution, geo-location (Google Earth/Maps), and media/content deployment. Responsibilities have grown to include Windows systems administration.

Prime Systems has contracts with SBISD, Cy-FairISD, and other school districts to repair and maintain PCs, printers, and peripherals. As lead technician for SBISD responsibilities included repairing and configuring all devices used within the district: laptops, PCs, servers, handhelds, printers/plotters, and networking devices. Responsibilities also included building and maintaining a PHP/MySQL ticket system used for tracking work requests and generating statistics.
