As the division leader I was responsible for all company functions including Finance/Accounting, Sales, Operations, Human Resources and Marketing. Our team developed and I presented our business plan to the CEO of the THCG, as well as, the THCG Board of Directors. We achieved record growth in sales and earnings and became a major player in the natural poultry markets.Our team developed this business into the largest antibiotic free turkey company in the country and a strong player in the antibiotic free chicken market.I was on the Executive Committee of the National Turkey Federation, as well as. a board member on the National Chicken Council.

I was hired by the Board of Directors of the Hain Pure Protein Corporation (A Joint Venture between THCG and Pegasus Equity Parnters), which was previously a division of The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (THCG), as COO/CFO. I reported to the HPPC BOD for six years until the THCG acquired the Pegasus Equity Partners investment in the business. Our team developed the most successful natural poultry company in the country, leading with our Plainville Farms Turkey and our FreeBird Chicken brands. After the acquisiton, I continued to manage the business for THCG and we generated strong growth for thr company and strong brand recognition in the poultry industry.

I was responsible for the accounting and finance departments, as well as, supporting the M&A function.Over the course of the seven years in this position, the team acquired and developed numerous businesses focused in the natural and organic market place. Imagine SoyMilk, Plainville Farms Turkey,and FreeBird Chicken to name a few of these businesses.I supported CFO with all the SEC reporting requirements of this public company and was responsible for the SOX compliance function. After seven years in this position, I was asked to lead the Hain Pure Protein Division as the COO/CFO. This was a joint venture between Pegasus Equity Partners and The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. After 6 years of growth and success, The Hain Celestial Group Inc. acquired the Pegasus Partners investment. This was a major acquisition for the company and a reflection of the success of our Hain Pure Protein leadership team.

As Director Financial Planning and Analysis I was responsible for all budgets , forecasts, and financial reporting for the division. In addition, I worked with the team on key acquisitions to build the haircolor business into a major haircare business, with a major share of the retail and professional haircare markets. We acquired Aussie Haircare Products and Matrix Professional Care. I was also was part of the team that worked on the sale of Clairol, Inc. to Proctor & Gamble. Clairol Inc. grew from $200M to $2.5B over the period of time that I was with that division of Bristol Myers Squibb, a public company.
