Analyze, design, implement, upgrade, train, document, and troubleshoot vendor operating systems, applications, and hardware for integration into the States infrastructure. I work closely with Business Partners, as well as internal Desktop, Server, and Networking teams.Develop and enforce Standards and Compliance for several Departments requiring compliance with Security requirements set by Federal Standards such as HIPAA, FTI, and PCI.

One of 10 other Desktop Support technicians supporting a wide range of Agencies with over 3500 computers within our support campus. I am the Lead technician in workstation setup, automation, and Group Policy management for Desktop computers within our campus. Utilizing batch, VBScript, and Powershell scripting to automate computer configuration and installs, we are able to complete mass deployments quicker and dramatically reduce help desk calls.I took over as Project Lead for the States migration from Novell Networking to Microsoft Active Directory. With a couple months left to meet deadline, our campus still had about a third of the workstations left to be converted. By automating a process for transition, we went from converting departments within divisions at a time, to entire buildings containing several divisions at a time. We were able to meet the deadline.

Responsible for onsite and remote support of workstations and servers at all sites within the western United States. Assisted others with onsite and remote support throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Supported the infrastructure of the company including Active Directory, Exchange 2007, and Jira support ticketing systems. Managed networking and IP phone system as well.
