Cloud Solution Architect / Data Solution Architect: Key Responsibilities included: • Drives high priority customer initiatives in tight collaboration with customers, partners and the Microsoft community. • Serves in a technical customer facing role, that was accountable for the end-to-end customer data platform design, architecture, and deployment. • Interfaces with both the generalists and specialists in the Microsoft sales and delivery teams (including partners, services, Internal Microsoft Product / Service organizations) focused on consumption of the Data platform in high potential accounts. • Design, coordinate and execute pilots and POCs to modernize customers’ Tier-1 mission-critical solutions for performance, scalability, latency, reliability. • Execute technical proposals for optimizing and modernizing identified workloads. • Design data platform mission critical solutions and migrations to the Microsoft data platform. • Design data storage, movement, orchestration solutions and create rich visualizations. • Identify, scope and participate in the design and delivery of advanced analytic solutions. • Document and share technical best practices / insights with engineering and the architect community. • Design solutions for structured data technologies and understand unstructured data technologies. • Performs demonstrations and proof of concepts for all data platform environments surrounding Azure, include SQL Server on-prem, Microsoft data transformation tools, and all data platforms in Azure.

• Managed three groups: Application Development, Business Intelligence, and Data Architecture, consisting of eighteen employees.o Application Development: Built custom application for Sarah Cannon/SCRI using the .Net frame work and Metastorm. This including a User Identity Portal to handle the syncrination of three Active Directory forests, Data Repository to allow manipulation of data used in our SharePoint application, a Completely customized SharePoint environment, and several others.o Business Intelligence: Built dashboards using MicroStrategy.o Data Architecture: Built Datamodels using ERWIN, Databases using SQL Server 2012/2014, and ETL process using SSIS. Extraction sources included: SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle.• Worked closely with HCA Biztalk team to process HL7 records for cancel patients. Data was used in our Navigator software. This enabled the Nurse Navigators at our facilities to quickly contact patients and navigate them through their cancer journey. • Built out the SCRI Active Directory structure using Active Roles Server.• Built MVC web services for eMail, Reports, and integration with My Health One.• Worked heavily with my staff on all aspects within Database Design, Application Development, and Business Intelligence.• Created Database, Architecture, and Coding Standards for team, including the use of Visual Studio Teams to track changes, test plans, and deploy code.• Major Projects: User Identity Portal, Sarah Cannon Enterprise Data Repository, mySCRI, SCRI Monitoring, SCRI Service Desk Tracker, and iNavigate.
