I am a passionate and dedicated leader with several years of experience in EV Battery Systems production and Automotive assembly operations. I have a proven track record in Team Leadership, collaboration, inspiration, mentorship, and Problem Solving. Safety-minded always as well as being detail oriented, and a problem solver. I’m never one to shy away from a challenge and I strive to work as efficiently and effectively as possible. As a servant leader within an organization it is important to be as adept at listening as it is to directing others. While working in the automotive equipment engineering field as a Technician, I learned a great deal about fabrication and assembly. Everything from incoming machined parts inspections to equipment set-up/tear-down, welding, machine modifications, robot teaching, and basic PLC programming. During my Team Leader experience at Ford KTP I honed my production understanding and line repair skills. Juggling 2 subassembly lines feeding the main production line while maintaining equipment, parts, and support for my team with a 45 vehicles per hour production rate.When I joined the Tesla Gigafactory NV team as a Production Supervisor, I took my high output production knowledge and applied it to battery modules, leading my teams to continuous improvement, higher manufacturing output, and a reduction in manpower, all while improving quality performance for battery operations. After joining the Rivian team as a Group Leader, first in GA, and then on the Battery Pack line, I helped launch Rivian’s first 3 vehicles. Initially setting up the Trim 1 line using my years of production leadership and experience, I built a well trained and disciplined team. Moving to the Battery pack line a year later, I replicated that same success while increasing battery pack output to new sustained levels of production to meet the growing plant output capacity. Currently at Hyundai Mobis as an Assistant Manager of Quality Control, I am tracking all incoming quality for battery parts and components, while leading a team of technicians to investigate quality defects for parts and Battery assemblies.
