Develop ETL Process to transfer outbound claim files using SQL Server stored procedures, SSIS and C#.

 Design database and data models that complies with complex business rules and data processing logic from various clients using Microsoft SQL Server. Design and write comprehensive, end to end ETL pipeline using SSIS, SQL Server Jobs and various database elements to support multiple product teams.  Design and write SQL stored procedures that enables ETL process for Risk Adjustment process. Optimize new and existing SQL queries to improve system performance by using execution plan, statistics and logs. Optimize existing SSIS packages by eliminating unnecessary joins, adjusting buffer size and building parallel process.  Draft detailed technical documentation in JIRA for new development as well as maintenance for documents of existing process. Responsible for maintenance and monitoring of data pipeline for various application data. Evaluate existing SSIS packages for opportunities of improvement.  Used JIRA to track the bug/task in the entire application and followed AGILE SCRUM methodologies. Support monthly regression testing by troubleshooting and debugging existing processes. Construct SQL scripts to alter existing processes or fix defective data with update and delete scripts. Assist in Production Support and regularly acted as on call support for ETL tools.

 Used T-SQL to generate scripts to create Data Warehouse based on the designs from the architect.  Followed the naming standards, guidelines, best practices and document the data definitions and metadata for all the database objects. Resolved performance issues of poorly running queries and performance of database by using Index Tuning Wizard, SQL Profiler, Query Analyzer and Utilized Statistics. Developed projects and packages containing various tasks. Developed packages to incrementally load data from ODS to Data Warehouse using Slowly Changing Dimension Transform and Look up Transforms with variables. Performed data cleansing using various transformation in SSIS. Utilized SSRS and Tableau for generating different kind of reports and dashboards based on Departments’ requirements.

 Developed SQL scripts for data dump in the Database in SQL server Designed and developed the SSIS packages to extract the data from OLTP database, transformed date with various transformation like Type Conversion, Derived Column, Conditional Split, Merge, Look up and tasks like Data Flow Task, For Each Loop, Execute SQL Task and loaded to the ODS. Designed and developed the SSIS packages to extract the data from ODS database and to load into Staging Database and then to the Data Warehouse using incremental load and slowly changing dimensions.  Involved in maintaining data consistency and data integrity using various constraints like Unique, Check, Primary Key and Default. Implemented Performance Tuning of T-SQL statements effectively with SQL Profiler and Database Tuning Advisor.
