Duties included but were not limited to: - • Always ensure good health and safety practice by use of correct techniques, correct uniform/PPE and applying correct company procedures. • Carrying out Annual Boiler Services, Boiler Health Checks, Small Remedial Boiler Repairs and Landlords Gas Safety Checks. • Safe lone working, carrying out risk assessments and following protocols and procedures to get the task completed. • Communication with the office. • Management of Van Stock. • Use of mobile apps. • Managing my workload whilst lone working to ensure timeslots are met.

Being a Dual fuel smart meter engineer for British gas involved me using practical skills to install gas & electric meters, diagnose faults and make repairs when required. my job role also involved providing customers with customer tailored energy efficiency advise based on their usage and how Smart Metering will impact their lives for the better.Other aspects of the job was to deal with customer queries, sorting billing issues, lone working & participating in rota call out shifts.

Whilst at Virgin Media, my job role involved keeping customers happy by Installing and/or repairing TV, Telephone & Broadband. Day to day challenges involved fault finding, problem solving, multi-tasking, working in diverse weather conditions, basic knowledge and understanding of IT, Lone Working & lot more.
