Hello, my name is Jay, I am a freelance prop maker based in Buxton, Derbyshire. I studied figure sculpting and theatre design/ interpretation at Wimbledon School of Art, class of 2001. Since graduation I have turned my hand to many of the crative vocations becoming proficient to a professional standard in most at various prop shops up and down the country. Welding, mould making and wood working are my preferred and strongest areas of the trade however I am adept in all aspects of creative construction and always eager to learn new tricks. I have built myself a garden studio workshop, capable of comfortably housing prototype and 12 ft sq sculpt. I prefer to work locally, however if the job requires I have my own transport.
