Jay joined the firm in 1997 and is responsible for providing a variety of land use planning, urban design, and project management expertise to our extensive list of municipal and private sector clients. Jay brings an interdisciplinary background of academic knowledge, technical proficiency and flair for design to our Team, allowing him to approach projects in a strategic and comprehensive manner. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography from Trent University and a Diploma in Honors Standing in Geography (Urban Development) from the University of Western Ontario as well as a Diploma in Urban Design from Fanshawe College. He is a Registered Professional Planner, a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, and also served on the London Advisory Committee on Heritage for seven years.Specialties: Jay manages the firm's land development and design projects with his skills and experience in land use planning, residential subdivision design, site planning, master planning, public consultation and the planning approvals process. Jay is also responsible for many of the firm's long range planning and policy projects, providing general consultation services to a number of our municipal clients and expert witness testimony before the Ontario Municipal Board.
