I started my professional career in healthcare over twenty years ago. Although I loved the excitement and being able to help people, my path took a turn towards the funeral professional over 13 years ago. I absolutely love my job now. I don’t watch the clock, and I never have a day where I just don’t want to go to work. The funeral profession allows me to walk with people on their darkest day. It is personally rewarding to use empathy and skill to help people through that difficult journey. Although this could be misconstrued as self serving, it just feels good to help people in their time of need.
