Directing and controlling the resources: This include overseeing hiring processes and implementing policies to effectively recruit, train and retain employees to ensure that the company functions as efficiently as possible.Preparing business plans, budgets and reports: Working with other senior management team members to prepare business plans and monitor progress against them to ensure that the company is operating as cost-effectively as possible. This involves the preparation of the annual budget, and close monitoring throughout the year to ensure that targets are met and costs are kept as low as possible. Responsible for presenting the company's annual reports and accounts to the Franchise and making sure they are approved.Representing the company in negotiations with customers and suppliers: Acting as the face of the company in negotiations with customers and suppliers, in order to keep clients happy and costs low for the company.Developing and maintaining professional relationships with new customers: Playing an important role in developing crucial professional relationships with large clients, suppliers, local government and other organisations.Providing strategic advice and support to the Franchise and other members: Maintaining up to speed on the latest developments in the industry in order to provide accurate advice and ensure that the company implements policies to meet the targets while complying with Franchise and Government regulations.Developing and maintaining appropriate policies and procedures: This include ensuring that the company is abiding by equal opportunities employment laws, or legal health and safety practices.

• Financially to generate income and profit by achieving and exceeding financial targets through income generation for existing and new to bank businesses. • Risk (credit) lending up to £250,000 for process and control – Achieving and maintaining the required levels of regulatory process and effectively managing and recommending appropriate risk and exposure in accordance with the groups risk principles. • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, improving customer satisfaction to achieve divisional goals, help increase the market share and demonstrate commitment in treating customers fairly.• Proactively find solutions to improve local business banking. • Grow business profile from 0 to a target profile of 800 plus small to medium business customers, ensuring there banking and finance needs are met. • To be the primary point of contact for business customers within the external local business market and own portfolio of customers.• Operate within all legal, codes and company requirements relating to business banking, FSA, Data protection and AML and QA• Develop and build long term relationships with a focus to build new relationships , help maintain a network of introducers in the business banking market segment within the local business market e.g. accountants • Achieve service level targets as a complaint manager and have K.B.Is attend networking functions to generate contact and raise profile in the local community.• Actively managing own portfolio and deepening relationship with business clients • Coaching and developing colleagues within the team to generate leads
