This was a private cloud hosted locally, and I worked on the infrastructure architecture upon which the service runs, as well as automating as much as possible with PowerCLI to make sure our outcomes are reliable and predictable.- Day to day operations and support of private cloud- Automated host builds, host config, & cluster configs. Eventually was able to install & config 32 node clusters in 3.5 hours. (After rack & stack was done, of course)

I'm proud to say I was at Connectwise during the rapid growth cycle, when we went from 50 employees to over 900. I was responsible for, and built all of the infrastructure at our HQ office and Colo where the SaaS app was hosted. Contributions were, but not limited to:- Engineered the corporate network to a full Layer 3 network with NAT and standardized infrastructure- Re-engineering and implementing new network layout and infrastructure at both locations- Virtualization of bare metal server infrastructure at both locations- VMware vCloud Director and VMware Lab Manager design & implementation- Multiple vSphere, switch, and firewall firmware upgrades- Day to day IT operations- Implementation of new firewalls coupled with network segmentation- Active Directory management and configuration- Leading IT dept in technical vision, projects, implementation, etc. - Creating company security policy design and implementation of policy- Implementation of security controls based on identity. - Global firewall implementations, along with management of firewalls- Implementation & management of Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) at multiple locations- Re-architected the colo data center to utilize Layer 3 networking, standardized infrastructure, and HA firewalls.- Re-architected the network infrastructure for new office- Re-architected a new firewall infrastructure to accommodate the network redesign @ new office- Tufin implementation for better FW policy managment- Citrix Netscaler implementation for load balancing, date compression, & SSL offloading

At TBFCU, I was responsible for all infrastructure: network, server, storage, security.

Most of my time at SouthTech was dedicated at the biggest client, which was a local accounting firm of approximately 100 employees. I was a jack of all trades at this job, providing the accounting firm with desktop support, Windows server administration & support, Citrix Metaframe support/administration, Raptor firewall administration, etc.

My first IT job, doing Help Desk and some remote admin work
