I am currently the Executive Treasurer of Access Bank South Africa. My responsibilities as the bank’s treasurer include but is not limited to the following: cash and liquidity management, balance sheet management, regulatory compliance, financial risk management, operational risk management, investment and investment evaluation, correspondent banking relationships, maintaining relationships with external stakeholders including rating agency and capital market fund raising. I am a skilled professional with extensive knowledge in treasury management, trading, operations and strategic planning; with over 20 years of treasury experience across all financial risks and risk mitigation. I hold a Masters in Management of Finance and Investments (MMFI) from Wits Business School as well as a BSc Honours Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Durban-Westville. I have also completed the Transition to General Management Program through INSEAD Business School and achieved the ACI Dealing Certificate with a 93% Pass Mark.Experienced Head Of Trading with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry.
