Responsibility for the supervision of personnel, management of fiscal resources, human resource management, facility operations and use, project management, A/V design and implementation, and building/equipment maintenance (including Dining Services equipment and venues), problem solving, administration of facility resources, and assisting the Director with enforcing University Center policies. Staff oversight responsibilities include Production Services, Custodial Services, Campus Reservations, and Conference and Event Services.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of sound, lighting, video, staging and computer-based multimedia systems to support all non-academic events, including special events held on campus. This position is the resident authority on the use and operation of A/V equipment used by Production Services, University Center and various academic buildings venues as they relate to non-academic programming. Apart from leading a staff of 20 people in event support, in this role I am able to assist in the oversight of University Center facilities and maintenance. This includes the Custodial Department and Building Manager staff to ensure a first rate service is provided. I am able to actively assist in the development of a multi-year project plan for the University Center. Balancing the financial limitations and present needs of the facility and its many patrons.

The Production Services - Lead Technician is a student employment position that oversees the student of Production Services. This position includes direct management of 3-4 student managers with an overall crew size between 16 & 18 students. A successful applicant will: have excellent time management skills, the ability to build a staffing schedule to support events, train student employees, understand and maintain equipment, assist in-person or over the phone with staff technical issues and attend/work many events. This position requires daytime, night, weekend, summer and winter work availability.In this position I am the head live sound engineer as well as, maintain the UW-RF recording studio. Which provides professional level live recordings for various classical and jazz performances on campus. As well as, musician/band recordings for various students and outside customers.

The Production Services - Event Staff is primarily responsible for all of the production infrastructure and room setups for the University Center and secondary support is provided campus-wide. The staff will be responsible for set-up and take-down of all staging, trussing, video screens, Genie Lifts, scaffolding, crowd barricades, tables, chairs and will provide additional departmental support as needed including audio, video and lighting systems.
