I have worked for Perdue since 1979. Spending 3 years in the field research division then moving to processing for over 5 years. The last 35 years have been in Live Haul. I have had the opportunity to manage all four locations on the Delmarva Peninsula. These operations harvest our Organic products in Milford, Delaware, Roasters in Georgetown, Delaware, Cornish Hens and small Broilers in Salisbury, Maryland and large Broilers in the Accomac, Virginia facility. My experience is with both company and contract catching operations. We employ both traditional hand as well as machine harvesting. Company and Contract haulers are used to transport the roughly 250 million chickens we harvest each year on the Delmarva Peninsula.
