Formulate purchase requests for IT related hardware (e.g. computers, Cisco switches & routers, Trimble receivers, etc.), software, and services for the agency. Track requests through ERP. Provide status reports, coordinate purchase activities with Procurement Division (PRO), assist end users with required documentation, and maintain related records. Work with other teams and groups to standardize and streamline the process. Assist with accounting/bookkeeping, budget support, support of accounts payable, travel expenses, contract review, preparation, and processing.

Accountable for end to end supply chain solutions including planning, purchasing, inventory, logistics, RMA returns, and invoice resolution. Responsible for the inventory levels at three contract manufacturers of 400+ parts at an annualized cost of $2.5M. Conduct weekly calls with all three CM’s and report back to upper management about any issues with supply or scheduled builds. Week to week management of inventory reports, COGS, purchase order reports, and invoice discrepancies. Responsible for End of Month inventory reporting to Finance for all three CM’s. Liaise with brokers to offload excess and obsolete inventory.

Day to day management of hardware and software assets and maintenance ensuring that contractual obligations are monitored, measured, and issues appropriately escalated in a timely manner. Assist in developing and maintaining processes and procedures for purchasing, undertaking regular audits to ensure compliance. Liaise with suppliers to acquire quotations for IT purchases. Maintain the IT asset inventory system, providing appropriate reports to support planning & budgeting cycles. Manage the IT purchasing process in accordance with policy and procedures. Managed wide range of electronics and peripheral devices commodities such as desktop and notebook graphics, sound and network cards, notebook mechanicals, and cables. Sourced, secured, and maintained phenomenal working relationships with multiple suppliers on a global scale. Administered parts for Flextronics, CTS, and Best Buy notebook repair depots. Spearheaded daily conference calls with suppliers on any parts issues and urgent work orders, and weekly conference calls to confirm continuity of supply, expedited parts, and ensure a long term, healthy business relationship. Contributed to Quarterly Supplier Scorecards, and participated in Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate supplier’s performance based on key metrics. Attended weekly CE Meetings and communicated any real time supply issues. Worked closely with cross-functional teams that included Services Quality, Reverse logistics, IT, and Transportation Providers, and developed, deployed, and facilitated the CTS Notebook Repair Depot in Houston, TX, and Best Buy Depots in Chino, CA, and Louisville, KY that greatly enhanced supply chain operations.  Accountable for up to 500 parts with an annual spend in excess of $1M while holding optimal service level at over 97% (i.e., consistently maintained low inventory levels). Reduced excess committed P.O. spend by $1.06M through work with supplier and communications on gating components previously procured that resulted in purchasing of component alone vs. whole assembly. Collaborated with company counterparts in other regions and procured their excess supplies for further cost reduction.
