With eighteen years of program development, grantmaking, and financial resource development experience in the Jewish communal and non-profit sector, Jay Feldman joined the Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation as its Managing Director in 2011. In his role as Executive Director, Jay works closely with the foundation's Board of Directors and leads a team of passionate professionals to implement the organization's strategic initiatives. Previously, Jay was Director of Leadership Development at Jewish Federation & Family Services (JFFS) in Orange County, California, and Founding Director of its Rose Project initiative. His responsibilities included the management of the Federation's public affairs program and grant-making activities in leadership development and Israel engagement, coordinating educational and leadership missions to Israel for CEOs and business executives, and major gift solicitation. Prior to that, Jay was JFFS's Director of Development for Taglit-Birthright Israel Initiatives, through a joint venture with The Andrea & Charles Bronfman Philanthropies and the Birthright Israel Foundation. Before joining JFFS, Jay was Director of Jewish Student Life at UC Irvine for the Hillel Foundation of Orange County. Jay has also worked in public relations in Washington D.C. and was an Educational Leadership Consultant for the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. Jay graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising & Public Relations. In his spare time, Jay is involved in a variety of organizations, including AIPAC, JNF, and Hasbara Fellowships. Jay resides in Kensington, Maryland with his wife Jennifer, a successful family law attorney.
