Consultant Project ManagerHeysummit Jan 2021 - May 2021Bellingen, New South Wales, AustraliaEmployed to work with the main HeySummit development and partnership team to increase the speed and efficiency of integrating the HeySummit Event platform with Webinar System providers. The role was two fold. Firstly to specify and work with the development team to create a middleware platform (HeyConnect) that allows the HeySummit application to maintain a consistent level of requests that are converted via a middleware platform into the language of an webinar partner's API. This aspect included the creation of partner resources and documentation allowing any 3rd party to understand the requirements of an integration and create the configuration required to facilitate an integration. Secondly to work with the partnership team to create an efficient process to promote the HeyConnect integrations strategy, recruit partners, support partners and market/release new integrations to users of both systems. The project success is measured in the fact that an integration can now be achieved hours and partners are willing to create the integration config themselves rather than referring integration requests to the HeySummit development team. -

Project ManagerRestaurantdiary Australia Apr 2012 - Feb 2014SydneyRestaurantdiary Australia worked in close partnership with Dimmi, Australia's largest online restaurant booking network enabling restaurants to digitalise table inventory and market empty seats to prospective diners. The role of Project Manager is varied in content and diverse in the utilisation of skills. A 'needs must' attitude in a fast moving start up environment and broad industry experience has meant rewarding and ever changing duties: training the sales team, conceptualising marketing campaigns and sales material, releasing product enhancements to staff and customers, retiring features, transitioning users from legacy to redesigned interfaces, and working with both local and international development teams to produce new features and products. My experience and flexibility have helped to grow Restaurantdiary from a minor player in an emerging market to being the main supplier of online restaurant reservation systems across the country.During an 12 month secondment with dimmi I conceptualised two major additions the the product suite that enabled dimmi to grow to be the market leader of online restaurant reservations in the Australian market. The first was the 'ResDiary Managers App' a mobile friendly platform designed specifically for restaurant managers to manage their online availability and restaurant reservations. The second was dimmi 'Flash Deal' a 50% off dining deal created via an API interaction between 3 different technical systems.
