Security Surveillance (Aerial Sensor Operator)
Maintained TOC (tactical operations command). Used unmanned aerial sensors to track, record and monitor various objects in the air, on the ground or in the water. Operated remote sensors, both manually and by using computer technology to manage flight and sensor operations. Installed, tested and maintained airborne sensors to ensure their performance. Continually monitored surveillance in a remote setting using advanced video imagery equipment. Collected and processed data gathered from sensors and evaluated data for quality control. Observed aircraft and assisted with troubleshooting and maintenance. Assisted flightcrews with debriefing and planning missions. Performed pre- and post-flightduties, such as emergency procedure checklists and post-flight debriefings. Tested and evaluated equipment and processes to stay updated on new remote sensing technologies. Analyzed images received through Unmanned Aerial System. Identified suspicious activity and possible threats to instalation Responded appropriately by dispatching the QRF team to locations and maintained reports on local instalation and village activity.
