Jay Shin’s past experiences include leading the Korea practices of Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP and Borden Ladner Gervais, LLP, two of the largest Canadian law firms, and being a partner with Yulchon LLC, a leading international law firm based in Seoul, Korea. I have experience acting for clients on merger and acquisition transactions, such as share and asset purchases, amalgamations, and arrangements including all due diligence matters, as well as the negotiating and drafting of the transaction and financing documents required to complete such transactions. I also represent chartered Canadian banks and other financial lenders (both domestic and international) in preparing loan documentation and security.
