Full handled Bodily Injury files including investigation, reserving and resolution at Crawford.This pertained to both new and existing files.Assisted with internal Crawford Bodily Injury file audits.For a period of time , I managed ,in my capacity as Claims Examiner,a full pending of liability claims on behalf of Echelon Insurance when I was seconded by Crawford to Echelon Insurance.This included contacts, investigation, assessment, reserving and resolution.Many of these files were litigation files.

My responsibilities were:Supervision of 22 staff members including BI/AB Claims Representatives and Support staff.As one of 2 Casualty Supervisors reporting to an Injury Manager, managed day to day operations and functions impacting the team.Conduct all administrative duties applicable to staff including performance management and appraisals Conduct interviews as part of the AB & BI staff hiring process and assist other supervisors where requiredProvide leadership in initiating enhancements in departmental operations, processes and structure.Allocation and budgeting of resources, to ensure effective operation of the department such as technical training facilitation and equipment.Ongoing review of important information and issues and dissemination of this information to staff . Assist with settlement conferences and in managing these conferences.
