Asset Development - Mid-Continent Business Unit, South Texas Reservoir Management TeamLead geologist for Slick Ranch FieldDevelop new drill opportunities in a mature field. Find infill and step-out drilling opportunities to expand existing development footprint and increase reserves and production.o Successfully executed 1 new drill opportunity with 3 follow-up locations. o Create and update structure maps, reservoir characterization maps, and production maps to high-grade areas of focus for infill and step-out drilling opportunities.Recompletions and workovers:o Identified over 50 workover opportunities. Proposed and executed over 20 workover projects.o Back-fitting production to reservoir, assessing by-passed pay and undeveloped reservoir intervals.o Identify bypassed and up-hole pay and propose those opportunities to get completed and add reserves.Support the business plan development for upcoming year. Includes determining number of new drills, recompletion goal targets, and associated expected costs and additions to reserves.Support reserves documentation. o Includes updating structural maps, net pay maps, well classification, and any other needed support documentation. Asset Development – Bay Marchand FieldLead geologist focusing on maturing gas, oil, and waterflood prospects. Experienced in planning sidetracks, new drills, water floods, and MRWO.Lead geologist on a Major Capital Project that identified 42 new drill locations, 3 new platform locations, and led to booking ~21mmbo of reserves.Daily activities included finding and developing prospects from concept through drilling by analyzing well production, seismic, and log data. Methods consisted of:o Correlating well logs, creating isopach maps to show prospect volumetrics, calculating prospect economics, and constructing a feasible well path.o Back-fitting production to reservoir, assessing by-passed pay and undeveloped reservoir intervals.o Using seismic attribute analysis to support any prospects and find further development or exploitation prospects.Assisted Reservoir Engineers with reserve bookings and Drilling and Completion Engineers with well planning. Communication with the Drill Rigo Pre-drill to discuss well objectives, possible geohazards and faults.o During drilling to ensure proper well trajectory and determining the well’s Total Depth.Exploration – Gulf of Mexico ShelfRegional 3D Seismic Mappingo Mapped 6 key stratigraphic horizons from onshore West Cameron to the GOM shelf edge.o Created comprehensive 3D maps showing paleo depositional environment, existing oil and gas fields, and trends of the plays along the paleo shelf edge.o Organized and developed over 75 prospects for the GOM shelf portfolio based on untested structures and closures on those horizons.o High graded the structures on open acreage for lease sale bidding.Focused on prospect maturation by creating stratigraphic and depositional models, along with analyzing analogs to advance prospects to decision points.

Developed proposals, for clients, tracked budgets, and prepared various geotechnical reports in coordination with architects, drilling contractors, and construction project managers. o Proposal types included soil and foundation design investigations, construction materials testing proposals, and construction consultation proposals.o Report writing included daily field reports as needed, soil and foundation design reports, construction materials lab result reports, on-site construction consultation reports and others.Managed/Supervised drill rig teams, soil contractors, and various utility contractors. On-site consultations with clients and construction project managers regarding construction issues including groundwater delineation, project execution, and subsurface fluid management.Supervised and logged soil profiles from various drill rigs. Rigs utilized include truck and tracked rigs utilizing solid stem augers, Tubex, Odex, and pneumatic air drilling rigs. o Experience sampling with California liners, split spoon samplers, coring, and collecting samples from pneumatic air drilling rigs.Proficient in materials sampling and testing methods, reading blueprints, inspecting rebar, logging soil profiles, and more.
