Freelance NDT/Lifting Gear Inspector, IRATA level 1. Looking for projects

Conducting pre and post load test NDT on life boat davits. Visual inspections on risers caissons and primary structures. NDT inspection of knuckle boom and pedestal cranes.

Primarily Conducting NDT, Dropped object surveys, Derrick inspections, general Rope Access maintenance and LGI inspections on and offshore in the oil and gas industry.

Conducting the cleaning and inspection of silos at a renewable power station in Allington,Kent. Carried out on a night shift using power tools and conventional methods while suspended at heights of up to 50 meters to ensure minimal disruption to day to day working of the site.

Promoted from Team Second in Command to Team Leader continuing with my duties as inspection coordinator I am now responsible for the management of 8 personnel and work directly for the Fleet Manager to ensure:-Health and safety is carried out and adhered to in the work place -All scheduled servicing is completed -Conducting spot checks to make sure supervision of tasks is taking place -Managing and operating platoon communication systems-Accounting for and issuing teams kit and equipment-Supervising the teams collective and personal administration -Supervision of any activities and tasks required by higher management -Ensuring all tasks are carried out cost effectively and to the highest standard and to a deadline -Teaching and instructing new operators on how to service operate and maintain various pieces of mechanical vehicle systems and weaponry-Carrying out logging and reporting procedures to create database on serviceability and life span of equipment -Liaising and communicating with fleet manager and other departments to ensure equipment inspections and maintenance is carried out to correct timeline
