My current role is a Software Engineer. I have 16 years of insurance knowledge and 14 years of direct experience in the system development life cycle. I have specialized in testing applications, creating test plans, turning business requirements into technical requirements, and currently developing solutions. I am by no means tied to the insurance industry. I have experience leading multiple teams through tight timelines and delivering software demos to C-suite executives. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have gained formal insurance education by earning the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. I have also completed Microsoft’s Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900). I am willing to learn any technologies/methodologies of the company's interest on my own time.In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
