I started my journey in the diving at 16 years of age , after a couple years of learning and course work and studying I have found myself at a really good stage in my career for a young guy! , being 20 years old as of the time of this edit. I have spent the last 2 years travelling across the uk keeping the planned maintenance system at Rocksalt subsea ltd up to date and also implementing this into our planned maintenance system and even been heavily involved in IMCA D023 Audit’s.When first joining Rocksalt there was only the 2 systems a 10ft 3 diver containerised system and a mobile diving van at the ready for inshore call outs. Now Rocksalt are equipped with 8 diving system many of them being IMCA compliant.After getting myself to the level required from years of learning as mentioned my job is to upkeep all these systems every 6 months and on periodic intervals while working towards the requirements of the D018 testing requirements. and implementing this into our PMS creating electronic and paper certification for the reviewal of clients other involved personnel being this involved in the total asset management and asset maintenance at a young age for this length of time has really developed me into knowing where I want to at what time and I have a clear vision of what I want to achieve first thing coming to mind building a reputation towards my name.as of recently (FEB 2023) I have entered the saturation world , now working offshore as a trainee diving technician onboard the well safe guardian on a Modular system (D300 Saturation system)I am absolutely loving the new aspect I am unfolding to my eyes in the diving world and can’t wait to really dig in to all this even deeper. and become the best and most reliable diving technician I can be
