I am a Control Room Operator at Recurrent Energy, where I monitor and operate more than 100 utility solar farms in various countries, including fully integrated battery energy storage and hybrid facilities. I have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and I am currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Energy Management from Conestoga College, with a focus on renewable energy technologies and systems. My core competencies include SCADA, manufacturing process improvement, and project commissioning. In my current role, I provide support to field technicians, site engineers, and contractors to minimize equipment failure and production losses, using my skills in SCADA and manufacturing process improvement. I also perform remote operation using different SCADA systems to energize, de-energize, or curtail facilities in order to support the planned outages scheduled by various grid operators and coordinators. I am motivated by the challenge and opportunity of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where I can apply my knowledge and skills to optimize the performance and reliability of utility-scale solar projects. I value teamwork, innovation, and sustainability, and I am eager to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization.
