My name is JT and I have been in the military now for almost 16 years working with Army Special Operations. I have worked and deployed to three distinct combat zones with US Navy Seals, Army Marine and Air Force Special Operations. Physical fitness has been my life. I have consistently achieved max points on the Army PT Test, competed in and won the Bataan Death March at White Sands Missile Range, and finished multiple Ironman Triathlons to include the World Championship in Hawaii and qualified for Las Vegas 70.3 Word Championship. While working on my Masters of Exercise Science in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention I realized that fitness does not require an expensive gym or state of the art equipment. All it requires is the right mindset and determination and that's it period. Through this passion I decided to create a site to support the cost conscious functional fitness athlete while providing the best reviews and content from across the web. My goal is bring you the top gear, reviews and DIY. There is no need to recreate the wheel but there is a need to collate information and make it easily accessible.
