Coordinates with all staff sections to ensure all War Fighting Functions are represented and synchronized within the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) to accomplish the Commanders intent.

Coached, mentored, and trained the Battalion Fire Support Cell, and four Company Fire Support Officers each responsible for teams of 8 to 10. Wrote and disseminated the fire support plan and execution matrix ensuring cross-functional communication between the artillery and maneuver battalions. Coordinated extensive training programs in multiple environments involving Air Force and Army Aviation support, distinguished the joint fires observer program. Maintained and utilized fire support equipment worth in excess of 3.6 million dollars.

The Captains Career Course competences per student: demonstrate the ability to think critically within Unified Land Operations, possess the ability to provide adaptive and flexible leadership, conduct complex problem solving, conduct Field Artillery operations planning, synchronize Fire Support assets with maneuver, and demonstrate mastery of battery level of operations. Throughout the course I exceeded course standards, and scored within the top 20% by showing mastery in all of these areas.

Also tasked as the Unit Movement Officer, Battery Information Awareness Officer, Container Inspection Officer, Unit Public Affairs Representative, and Fire Marshall Officer.
