"Music," Did someone say "Music?" My earliest memories are centered around music and the enjoyment that it could bring to a young, impressionable boy. I grew up in Miami, Florida where music is a way of life. Salsa, calypso, spirituals, island sounds, and Caribbean rhythms make life in Miami a wonderful place to experience music. In 1994 to 1998 where I studied music and where it became my passion. I studied composition music theory as well as vocals. With this background I moved to central Florida where I became affiliated with Disney Universal Studios, & Cirque du Soleil. I made special appearances at various Pleasure Island establishments where I was a main stage featured performer, City Jazz and Motown clubs in Universal Studios. From 1999 to 2002 I was featured on the television show "America's Rising Stars". I was voted Best Entertainer of the Century according to the show's producers. After these successes, I moved back to my hometown of Miami to continue pursuing my musical career. 2006-07 I was a Cabaret show entitled "South Florida's Lambda Choral, as well as appearing at many open microphone venues on Miami Beach, and local radio stations, 93.7 FM, WLRN 91.3 FM, 1550AM. Throughout South Florida, Las Vegas, LA, New York, Europe. I have been called "Divo" by many of my loyal fans. I have my New Age music to thank for this title. An album is presently in the works through a local major record label. Currently I'm working on a new musical called "Garden of Love" which I'm proud to be Staring, Directing, and Producing. A musical renaissance experience. The tale of a Divo, a renaissance woman who's only belief was in romance and love. The beauty and the art work of that time frame, come together with beautiful live music complied by Jay Vee. I can certainly say that the pursuit of my dream has taken me on a wonderful journey that continues each day.
