Ensures that Safety is at the forefront of the project and that CCC Groups corporate safety policy as well as any government and customer safety policies are being followed to achieve the overall project goal of no first aids and not recordable injuries. Develops, tracks, and maintains the project schedule. Responsible for issuing subcontracts and tracking subcontractor progress and approving subcontractor invoices. Coordinates with the customer on the project schedule of values and is responsible for project billings and completion status.

A joint project in conjunction with the CCC Group’s Birmingham office. The project consisted of gutting and installing new internals in the Unit 4 Precipitator located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The project involved removing all the old equipment and installing brand new equipment. The equipment included rappers, TR sets, anvil beams and rods, collector plates, insulators, wires, weights, and frames. The project involved a large amount of discovery work that was managed on a T&M basis. CCC Group was a sub-contractor on the project and involved close coordination between the lead contractor and the power plant when managing equipment locations, extra work orders, T&M timesheets, equipment locations, schedule, project billings, and plant operations. The project also involve the management on 1 sub-contractor with a T&M contract that had no cost overruns.Project Cost $2.7M

The installation of a new ball mill, a new hydrated lime injection (HLI) system and new spargers with associated piping into 2 separate absorbers in order to allow the Juliette, GA power plant to run multiple types of coal and remain EPA compliant. The project is a pipe heavy project and includes the installation of FRP, HDPE, Stainless, Carbon, and copper piping, as well as the mechanical and structural installation of the Ball mill and HLI system. The project involves working closely with Southern Company project oversight and involves the installation and management of materials supplied by 3 separate engineering companies.Project Estimated Cost $20M

The installation of a new washdown water system, at the Juliette, GA power plant. The project is a pipe heavy project and includes the installation Carbon Steel piping, as well as the structural installation of the pipe supports, and the testing of the system. Project required using P6 to create, maintain, and track project schedule. The project involves working closely with Southern Company project oversight and involves management of CCC Group employees, project schedule, project billings, project materials purchasing, and project invoices. Project plan was developed and included emphases on prefabricating assemblies and pipe spools to be installed. The project involved the management of 2 separate sub-contractors on a T&M contract, with not cost overruns. Project was completed with an approximate profit of 30% on a lump sum bid.Project Cost $750K

The ground up installation of a new limestone kiln, preheater, baghouse, stack, and conveyors in Woodville, OH. The project included foundations, structural steel erection, piping, and mechanical installation of the entire kiln system. Project required close interaction with the customer as well as other site contactors during its completion. Project completed on schedule and within budget. Project Cost $8.5M

Responsible for planning various projects within the mechanical discipline. Oversaw the completion of construction activities including the installation, modification, and removal of pumps, support structures, HVAC systems, and piping. Made safety a priority and utilized ALARA in the planning and execution of work activities. Engineered out physical and radiological hazards whenever possible in order to protect the environment and workers. Worked closely with design engineering and project management to analyze and modify designs for constructability while maintaining a schedule. Created customized lift plans involving the sizing of a crane and rigging selection for various lifts within the nuclear storage facility. Designed and utilized specialized construction aids in order to complete complex tasks. Created bills of material by conducting material take offs of design drawings. Utilized site guides and national codes such as B31.3 and AG-1 in the reviewing of designs, construction execution, and testing of the system.

Conducted comparisons of proposals from companies for sole source and competitive purchases in order to achieve the best price while meeting all engineering specifications.Purchased material and equipment for GPLNG (A joint project between Exxon Mobil, Quatar Gas, and Conoco Phillips). Project cost $1.3BWorked with the jobsite and various companies for the repair of equipment and ordering of replacement material and equipment damaged during hurricane Ike, for the GPLNG Project. Responsible for planning and estimating the cost and schedule for the maintenance of heaters, vessels and mechanical equipment in an oil refinery resulting in the maintenance coming in under budget and within the estimated time. Oversaw the completion of maintenance of heaters, vessels and mechanical equipment in an oil refinery; while troubleshooting any issues that arose and consulting with other refinery personnel in order to resolve the issues, resulting in completion on schedule.Made safety a priority by not putting workers in the line of fire and worked with safety personnel to assure that all safety concerns were addressed in the planning stages and that new concerns were mitigated if the scope of work changed.Worked closely with inspection personnel to assure that cleanliness and repair work was done to code and would result in the proper operation and extension of the equipments life.

Made design calculations to evaluate piping and mechanical equipment for a LNG Tank Farm.Utilized Pipeflo software to confirm that the mechanical pumps could provide the liquid flow needed throughout the plant.

Conducted reliability and maintainability analysis on military vehicle systems (FMTV, HMMWV). Worked closely with RAM and Materials groups to identify solutions for material significantly affecting Operation and Support costs. Conducted market research on Air Conditioning (AC) Systems. Completed a market survey for the AC system in the HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle).

Utilized finite element analysis to conduct thermodynamic imaging and IR signatures on future combat systems.
