Hired by Ascendum as a contractor to work exclusively at Lexmark in Lexington, Kentucky. Assigned as the IT Project Manager for the Lexmark at Work Phase III, Lexmark Solutions Platform, webMethods, Mobility Access and Learning Management projects.

Completed a training program with State Farm Insurance that included product training and state and federal licensing in Life, Health, Property, Casualty, Series 6 and Series 63. Sold their products including State Farm Bank (May 08/Oct. 09). Worked as an independent insurance agent (Nov. 09/June 10).

Appointed by Cabinet Secretary Teresa Hill and confirmed by Governor Ernie Fletcher (R) as a Policy Advisor to the Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection. Later was appointed Executive Advisor to Secretary Hill in the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet.

Appointed by Mayor Teresa Ann Isaac (D) and confirmed by the Urban County Council to provide daily direction and supervision for all administrative and operating functions within the Urban County Government including the 3400 employees. Directed Urban County Government Commissioners in the Departments of Public Safety, Public Works, Finance, Social Services, General Services and Law. Supervised the Chief of Police and Fire. Issued policy directives and administrative orders encompassing a broad scope of operational activities. Oversaw the budgeting and financial concerns of the government with a total yearly budget in excess of $396 million. Began negotiations with the U.S. EPA regarding the city’s 13 year, $300 million Consent Decree. Supervised the development and began the implementation of the city’s Storm Water Management Plan.

Managed distributor sales in Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi for Sullivan-Palatek. Promoted and placing industrial products into the marketplace by managing over 60 independent distributors. Developing and implementing specific business and marketing action plans. Trained distributor personnel in product and sales strategies. Monitored and influenced the performance of distributors toward established sales goals.

Managed distributor sales in Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, North Mississippi, North Arkansas, and West Virginia for the Sullair Corporation. Dealing with Contractors, Engineers and end-users. Responsible for over $5 million in machine and parts sales each year.-1998 Outstanding Sales Performance Award.
