Boulder County IT Support Intern 8/2009 to present & 3/2008-1/2009Was called back this year with more responsibility and we are now using Image direct. I am in charge of Boulder County’s IT PC Sale as well as building images for the PC Sale. Last year I prepared the appropriate notebook computers countywide to accept the new version of SafeGuard. I finished approximately 60% of a project to inventory UPS’s county wide for the network team including pictures of the wiring closets. I load images on new computers for a countywide refresh. I troubleshoot the ones that fail and call the manufacturer to set up onsite repairs. I wipe all data and load a basic image on units the county will be declaring surplus. I work with Active Directory, Remote Installation Services, System Management Server and Ghost on a daily basis. I also associated units with Trend Virus software, track inventory and document my time in Footprints.

As a Bus Operator I was responsible for everything that happens on the bus as well as traffic and staying on time. This utilizes a combination of educating, placating and serving the rider, record keeping and time keeping on the bus, as well as following DOT and RTD rules and regulations.

As a Case Specialist I was the single point of contact for the large corporate notebook customer from the time the call was logged through the complete repair. This often involved solving the administrator’s problems in maintaining their network. Also included was any trouble-shooting, parts sourcing, technical assistance, and final callback with metric coding. Documenting all steps in an appropriate database. I have also worked on the E-business team helping to consolidate Hp’s electronic resources and the certification team to remove some of the stones from the certification path.
