As a lead technician, I am required to train and monitor work being done for customer. Install, troubleshoot, as well as maintain all paperwork involved for the customer. I have worked on a couple of projects leading up to present position, from installing Point of sale systems to router / access point installs, to full NOC rack installs to Cisco VOIP Technician. I started working as a helper and worked my way up to lead. I have traveled for this company across the US and Canada on projects. I am the go to person for troubleshooting issues or installs in the Chicagoland area. I am Systemax certified for cabling both CAT6 and Fiber Optic installations. I have worked on projects that have resulted in saving the company that hired me thousands of dollars in costs by troubleshooting and creating a solution of an internal wiring issue creating static in the line and by using another pair within the 25 pair cable cleaned the noise that created disconnection of network service intermittently at a site. Since this site relied heavily on the internet connection being constant, this fix helped productivity at this site. I have done everything from PC refreshes, cabling, rack and stack NOC centers, to CISCO network and wireless upgrades.
