In line of that message, the company established an e-commerce site selling products made of edible and medicinal wild plants and also created year-round seminars training attendants in how to identify specific plants in the nature around us. It was Mr. Winterhalder's job as CEO to help create the E-commerce website, source products, develop the training plans together with our leader with all the expert knowledge. Apart from setting up business operations and provide customer service, Mr. Winterhalder also developed the strategic marketing and business development, placing the company and its co-founder, Mr. Markus Strauß in national magazines, tv-shows and reports.

Ventornet was an early effort to establish a crowdfunding in Germany and subsequently in Europe.
