I worked to maintain and build upon the laboratory information system for 2 years. In addition to my work in the LIS, I programmed in Visual Basic to create automated solutions for Carle's laboratory administrative assistants who assist our pathologists. I have enabled, encouraged, and assisted with the addition of gender inclusive care features. I recently accepted the position of IT Desktop Engineer to broaden my knowledge base, before transitioning to being a cybersecurity grad student at JHU.In my spare time, I am an amateur radio operator, and web developer. I have given presentations at DEF CON on topics such as security of the medical laboratory, open source intelligence, and gender inclusivity in the health information system.
