Following the success and commissioning of Dabhol Power Project, Enron India, the first ever fully owned Indian subsidiary of Enron Corp, Houston was set up in 1996 with registered office in Mumbai. With extensive work experience in Dabhol in Delhi, I was the obvious choice to set up their Delhi office reporting to the country Manager and Head of Government Relations. Working with Enron India, with high emphasis that human capital as their invaluable asset, gave me tremendous opportunity to grow my career with varied job profiles as the project demanded from time to time. Worked as an interace with media, government and the senior board of directors in India as well as Houston. Coordinated many high profile board visits to India for various business strategy meetings between Enron global team and various Indian agencies mainly Government, Indian Industry and Indian media to help brand building particularly when their projects in India were always a subject of discussion across all forums. Working with Enron made me a mature and confident professional to face every challeneges as we they come up.

Worked in various roles in relationship building with various government agencies and media organizations for the landmark Dabhol Power Project in Maharashtra. This was an integral part of learning in my career where on a day to day basis we had encounter pioneering challenges being faced by the Project. Dabhol was the biggest infrastructure project conceived after the liberalization Indian power sector for the first time when the sector was opened to the private industry. Reported to the India director of the Company.

Worked extensively on the Corporate Image Building and PR Campaigns with the Chief General Manager who reported directly to the Group Chairman & Managing Director. Traditionally DCM Group has had strong fundamentals on building professionals across their large verticals. One of the key Indian business houses with greater corporate social responsibilities. Carried out multiple tasks in various verticals of the Group.
