Co-creator and director of the locally produced, award-winning debate-style comedy stage show, Geeks versus Nerds. Performed live and recorded to be enjoyed for free online, rocking its sixth season in artistic Halifax, N.S., and third in gorgeous Vancouver, B.C. Responsibilities include soliciting cast members for each individual show, facilitating communication between all cast members, organizing and coordinating cast meetings, fundraising initiatives, and directing the stage show for audiences of up to 1000 people. Coordinated the 20th Anniversary Brunch and Auction 2013. Acquired, and kept track of all auction items, (over fifty silent, and twenty-nine live) from local business and enterprises and represented the organization to the community. Continuously updated board members, and ran the organization of auction day. Secured live auctioneer, and was the liaison with all board members, and coordinated the presentation of auction items. The event brought in $32,000 before expenses, having only spent $100 of the budget.Coordinated Strike Out Homophobia, May 2014, bringing in over $17,000 for the Youth Project.Offered volunteer support for various outreach initiatives, including Camp Coyote, Queer Prom, and co-facilitating the gender support group Transformers.
