Jaya is a multi-faceted personality in the business and corporate world with active contribution in the social and political sectors for almost 15 years now. With Majors in Business she started her career in the e-learning industry with an exclusive specialization in research, innovation, product strategy, product design, solution delivery, business development in public and private sectors for market leaders like Aptara Inc., Hurix Systems, Peak Pacific, HSBC Academy, Verve Communications and Technologies and KiwiTech. She has led various teams for flagship accounts like Microsoft, KPMG, Deloitte, Manipal University, Hewitt and Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning. Jaya has also had her fair share of experience with startups like KiwiTech and Cloud Computing wherein she set up various divisions like marketing, vendor management, partnerships and business development from ground zero. In 2007, Jaya was selected in the Top 26 (Pune), from over 30,000 entrants in the Lead India contest, an initiative of Times of India. Since then, she has been actively involved in politics and has also contested the Pune Municipal Corporation elections. When it comes to social issues Jaya makes her presence felt with pro bono consulting for NGOs and NPOs to reach the right audience and beneficiaries. At GRID 180, Jaya is instrumental in leading projects across Ekdrishta and Tara successfully to deliver client objectives with a primary focus on creating conducive ecosystems for our clients to accomplish what they envision. Her e-learning background coupled with her experience in the technology space enables her to identify the audience for a product or service and come up with an effective outreach strategy. A key area of work in the recent past has been Crisis Management for various clients across the spectrum.
