Currently working on a huge re-platforming project to replace our monolithic site with a highly available, scalable and modern site built with several micro frontends and distributed micro services.

Designed and implemented a highly available, scalable and fault tolerant distributed system to process shipment and delivery events from fulfillment platform, this system processes hundreds of thousands of order/item events everyday. Because of it's distributed nature enabled different functions like order state update, shipment notifications to customer, deliver notifications to customer, financial book keeping, etc. Technologies used: .Net Core, Rabbit MQ, AWS SNS, AWS S3, Docker, kuberenetes, Helm.Designed and implemented a complex feature in our site to enable our customers to easily update their product options like, paper stock, finishes, thickness, etc in reorder flow.Technologies used: React, Node, javascript, Nginx, docker and kubernetes.

Accelerated our move to cloud and greatly improved the availability and scalability our services and improved developer experience by building Kubernetes clusters in AWS from scratch using Terraform(TACK) to deploy our micro services as docker containers. Also set up the CI/CD using bit bucket, Jenkins swarm client, Helm chart and Jfrog artifactory.Designed and implemented Item/order cancellation feature for customers to be able to cancel the items/orders and get credit back on their own without having to contact our customer service. This greatly improved the customer experience and reduced close to 300,000 contacts annually and enable our customer service specialists to focus on more valuable help.Technologies used: Javascript, Jquery, C#, ASP.Net, MVC.Designed and implemented Self service address change feature in our website.Designed and implemented Self service feature to enable our customers to edit their designs post order without having to contact our customer care service to cancel to re-order the same product with updated design.

Designed and developed an AUTO insurance solution in KANA Enterprise platform for The Hartford Insurance personal lines system. Customized, configured, designed and developed the KANA enterprise CRM solution for The Hartford Insurance’s personal lines system, this system is currently being used by ~2000 Customer Sales Representatives of The Hartford.• Implemented Asynchronous web service integration in KANA enterprise using CXF framework. This solution saved operations cost by reducing the Average call handling time.• Implemented "SOAP over JMS" web service integration in KANA Enterprise.• Designed and developed several business process flows in KANA.• Developed and imported JAVA Bean Utils(custom written java classes) into KANA Enterprise.• Analyzed and resolved several critical KANA production tickets post implementation.

Tech lead for Hartford’s former CRM (CSC’s Exceed) application. Exceed is a three tier architectureapplication with .NET Frontend, JAVA/XSLT middleware and Mainframe (COBOL/CICS/DB2) backend system. Responsible for application enhancements and production incident management. Significant Achievements:• Designed, developed and implemented complex Home Insurance cross-sell algorithm which involved two web service integrations and complex business logic across three different front-end application.• Reduced the production incident backlog from 150 tickets to all time low of 19 with Zero HIGH and Medium tickets by redesigning highly problematic application logics. Received Hartford’s “Business Aligned” award for this.• Conducted VOC (Voice of Customer) sessions by meeting the sales/service representatives that use our application and implemented their suggestions and fixed their pain points to increase operational efficiency.

Hartford’s Personal Lines Auto System developer designed and developed several complex enhancement projects.• Designed and developed the Hartford’s TrueLane program (Telematics device usage program) –Received Hartford’s special recognition award for this project.• Designed and executed a multi-year recovery program which refunded difference in rates to the customer, this involved very complex rating and interest calculation logics. – Received Hartford’s special Recognition Award for this project as well.
