Current-Managed a case load of 30-40 clients at a time, providing direct, holistic support to low-income people facing criminal charges to address the collateral consequences of involvement in the criminal system.-Successfully met 90% of all client service goals created, including enrollment in court requirements, connection to mental health treatment, public benefits applications, restoration of vital documents, securing eviction defense representation, property retrieval, assistance with employment, and placement in emergency shelter, re-entry and long-term housing. - Wrote 15-20 mitigation memos, which successfully resulted in grants of diversion, favorable probationary and diversionary terms, dropped charges, reduced sentencing, and/or prevention of remand orders.- Secured over $5000 in grants from community organizations for clients with acute financial needs. - Facilitated conditional release of clients from jail into residential substance use treatment programs.- Spoke on the record in criminal courtrooms to advocate for clients and provide context on their progress. - Filed over 30 expungements and petitions to seal arrest records to help clients clear their criminal records.
